Welcome to issue four of your new-look SOAS World. In this edition, you’ll find an interview with Professor Ha-Joon Chang on his work at SOAS and what everybody needs to know about economics. We also introduce you to four of our students who, along with Dr Paul Giladi, have produced the UK’s first ‘Decolonising Philosophy Toolkit’. And as we prepare for our scholarship appeal in November, we talk to alumna, volunteer and donor, Allison George, on why she chooses to support SOAS.
